On 20 March 2025, US Kilchoman importer ImpEx Beverages announced several new releases for 2025, including three new single cask bottlings in its renowned Cask Evolution Series. The ‘Muscatel Cask’ listed here, which was bottled on 21 February, was announced as number 02/2025 in this series.

The whisky was matured for a good five years in a fresh Muscatel Blanc wine cask, the world’s first Kilchoman bottling from this type of cask.
