Kilchoman 9 yo 100% Islay Single Bourbon Cask 556/2015 for Royal Mile Whiskies

The well-known whisky shop Royal Mile Whiskies in Edinburgh has once again released a single cask Kilchoman bottling. As with the last Kilchoman bottling for Royal Mile Whiskies, released just under two years ago, this is another 100% Islay release, i.e. a whisky often referred to by Kilchoman as a ‘single farm single malt’, which was produced entirely at Kilchoman, “from barley to bottle”. Kilchoman likes to refer to its 100% Islay whiskies as its ‘reason for being’, as they showcase its identity as a farm distillery.

The whisky was matured for almost 10 years in an fresh ex-Bourbon barrel from Buffalo Trace. It can be purchased for £104.95 on the Royal Mile Whiskies website.
