Kilchoman Days 2025 announced
The year 2025 marks a special milestone in Kilchoman’s history. Opened in 2005 as the first new distillery on Islay in 124 years, Kilchoman is now, two decades later, an extremely successful Islay whisky distillery and is particularly proud of being independent and family-run, and of implementing the traditional production methods of a farm distillery ‘from barley to bottle’.
To celebrate this anniversary in style, Kilchoman will be hosting a series of special events in several European countries, known as Kilchoman Days.

Germany
The series kicks off in Germany, an important market for Kilchoman, where three Kilchoman Days will be celebrated thanks to the efforts of German importer HAWE: on 26 July in Berlin at Whisky & Cigars, on 2 August in Nuremberg at Gradls Whiskyfässla and on 26 September at Weinhaus Hilgering in Dortmund.
Participants can look forward to numerous highlights:
- Guided tasting of the 4-part 20th Anniversary Cask Series – the now sold-out anniversary edition impressively demonstrates what Kilchoman has achieved in 20 years with outstanding whiskies, including an 18-year-old
- Tasting of numerous other Kilchoman whiskies, from core releases to single cask bottlings
- Exclusive Kilchoman single cask bottling for each of the three Kilchoman Days to taste and purchase
- Kilchoman cocktails, including the winning cocktail from this year’s ‘Shake the Farm Cocktail Competition’
- Kilchoman goodie bag with little surprises
- Competition with numerous prizes
- Exhibition of historic Kilchoman bottlings (Berlin only)
- Food and drink – from the famous ‘Whisky & Cigars Stullen’ and free beer in Berlin to a 5-course dinner in Nuremberg
In addition, Kilchoman Days will offer plenty of opportunities to exchange ideas with members of the Kilchoman team, including Kilchoman founder Anthony Wills in Berlin, the German importer and the Kilchomaniacs in attendance.

Italy
The Italian Kilchoman Day will take place on 4 October from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Milan, in the heart of Piazza dei Mercanti, in the shadow of the Duomo. The programme will be similar to that of the German Kilchoman Days described above, with tastings, cocktails and socialising. There will also be an exclusive bottled Kilchoman Single Cask Release for this event.

UK
For British Kilchoman Day, the distillery invites you to the Edinburgh Academy Senior School on Saturday, 15 November 2025. From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., there will be tastings of the Kilchoman Core Range, the 20th Anniversary Cask Releases and New Make. And, of course, this day in particular will provide plenty of opportunity to chat with the Kilchoman team.
