Kilchoman Port Quarter Cask 19/1994 – Kilchoman European Tour 2026 by Flickenschild

During the ongoing Kilchoman European Tour 2026, the Kilchoman Land Rover with Emma McHarrie and Peter Wills will stop at the renowned retailer Flickenschild – Whisky & Cigars in Itzehoe on 14 March. Itzehoe will be the seventh of nine German tour locations.

For the event Flickenschild announced an exclusive Kilchoman single cask bottling. This is one of the Ruby Port Quarter Cask full maturations offered by Kilchoman since last year. To our knowledge, this is the only one of over 60 tour locations where visitors will be able to taste and purchase another exclusive tour release in addition to the official tour bottling.

Flickenschild benefited from the fact that the German Kilchoman importer Hanseatische Weinhandelsgesellschaft Bremen had a quarter cask on offer. The manageable number of approximately 120 bottles makes a cask of this size particularly suitable for an event such as a single tasting. So it’s no surprise that most of the sister casks were released in 2025 as exclusive bottlings for some of the Kilchoman Days in Germany and Edinburgh.

The whisky was matured for just over six years in Refill Ruby Port Quarter Casks (capacity 100 litres) and was bottled at cask strength of 56.2%, as always at Kilchoman, without colouring or chill filtration. Flickenschild also offers the bottles online, and until 1 March, they can be pre-ordered at a discounted price of €109.90 instead of €114.90.
