Kilchoman Port Quarter Cask 19/1996 for Kilchoman Day 26.09.2025 by Hilgering

To mark its 20th anniversary, Kilchoman is holding a series of special events in a number of European countries in 2025, known as Kilchoman Days. Exclusive single cask releases are usually bottled for these events. For the third German Kilchoman Day, which took place on 26 September 2025 in Dortmund, a Port Quarter Cask was bottled, as was the case for the second Kilchoman Day in August 2025 in Nuremberg.

The whisky was matured for almost six years in a refill port quarter cask. It will be interesting to compare it with its sister cask 1995/2019 for Nuremberg, which was the first fully matured Kilchoman port quarter cask worldwide.
