At the Kilchoman Open Day on 28 May 2015, an exclusive festival bottling was released as usual. This time it was a vatting from three fresh ex-Buffalo Trace-bourbon barrels. The age of 7 years stated on the back of the box applies only to the oldest barrel, which was bottled at exactly 7 years of age; the other two barrels are four months younger.
