Due to the COVID crisis, the Islay Festival Fèis Ìle was held virtually for the first time in 2020. From 23 May 2020 to 30 May 2020, the individual distilleries presented themselves on their respective days with a more or less detailed online programme featuring tastings, auctions, virtual tours, panel discussions and music. As usual, most distilleries also released a special Fèis Ìle bottling. The Kilchoman Open Day was on Thursday, 28 May. One item on the programme was an online live tasting of the Fèis Ìle edition, which had already been sold online on the Kilchoman website.

Due to the cancellation of the festival and the resulting online sales, the number of bottles was significantly increased to 2,630 bottles with an alcohol content of 54.2%. It was a vatting of 11 Bourbon barrels from 2007 and 2008 with a minimum age of 12 years.
