In March 2025, the Kilchoman single cask listed here was bottled for the Whisky Club Frienisberg in Switzerland.

This was another bottling of the New Oak Finishings, which we have reported on several times.

The whisky was first matured for five years in a fresh STR cask (shaved, toasted & re-charred ex-red wine cask) and then finished for a further two years in a new cask made from Carpathian oak (European oak from the Carpathian Mountains). The comparatively long finishing period in new oak resulted in a very spicy-tasting Kilchoman whisky.
