Cask Auction Batch 2 started
Today at 13.00 GMT the 2nd round of the Kilchoman cask auction was started. As we reported earlier, on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the Kilchoman distillery – which was officially opened at Fèis Ìle 2005 – a total of 15 casks of Kilchoman New Make will be auctioned in batches of 5 casks until the end of 2020. The auction of the first five casks took place in May/June 2020. Interested parties can now bid online for the following casks until 1 October:
- Bourbon Barrel
- Oloroso Sherry Hogshead
- Pedro Ximénez Hogshead
- Ruby Port Octave Cask
- Calvados Hogshead
A really interesting selection of casks, the interest should be increased by the fact that this time the casks are all filled with 100% Islay distillate, i.e. spirit produced from barley grown and malted at Kilchoman. We wish all bidders good luck!
