At the “Whisky Fair”, held on 24 and 25 April 2010 in Limburg an der Lahn, the German Kilchoman importer Alba Import and Kilchoman founder Anthony Wills presented this single cask bottling.

This was the first Kilchoman single cask bottling for Germany and only the fifth worldwide. The whisky was matured for just over three years in a fresh ex-bourbon barrel.

The 90 bottles that the German Kilchoman importer Alba Import had brought to the fair were already sold out on the first day.

For the last time with a Kilchoman Single Cask Release, the bottle still has a banderole around the cork. From May 2010 onwards, bottles bottled by hand at Kilchoman also had a metal capsule. The label still features the slightly darker blue of the Kilchoman Inaugural Release from September 2009. From the Autumn 2009 Release in November 2009, all Kilchoman bottlings had a royal blue label for the next two years. Only nine early single cask bottlings, such as the one listed here, still used the old dark blue labels.
