Kilchoman European Tour 2014 announced
Kilchoman has now announced that Peter and James Wills, two of Anthony Wills’ three sons and responsible for marketing at Kilchoman, will embark on a marketing tour across eight European countries in September. They will present the Kilchoman range in whisky shops in Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland and France, and talk about the early days of the distillery and new developments.
An exclusive whisky has been bottled to mark the tour: a cask strength ‘Machir Bay’, of which 1,518 bottles will be sold exclusively during the tour.

In addition to the exclusive tour release mentioned above, the 2014 editions of Machir Bay, Loch Gorm, and 100% Islay will be available for tasting and purchase. For the German leg of the tour, Kilchoman’s German importer, Alba Import, will also present an exclusive single cask bottling. The PX Sherry Cask Finish 395/2009 for German Roadshow 2014 is the first Kilchoman PX Finish for the German market. Last but not least, a tasting of cask samples will give a preview of the bottlings planned for the fall.
