Club Release 2026 Selection Tasting Packs available

Since 2012, the Kilchoman Distillery has released an exclusive bottling every autumn for members of the Kilchoman Club, which you can join online.

Kilchoman’s founder, Anthony Wills, has often emphasised in the past that he always strives to select a very special bottling for club members each year.

This year, for the first time, Kilchoman is offering club members the chance to take part in selecting the Club Release. To do so, from today onwards, you can purchase so-called Club Release Selection Tasting Packs containing four samples on the Kilchoman website.

On Thursday 22 October from 7.00 pm Islay time time, Anthony and James Wills will be tasting these samples live on Facebook and YouTube. Club members can then vote for their favourite.

Voting will remain open until Monday 26 October to give club members who were unable to watch the tasting live – but watched the recording instead – or whose tasting packs arrive a little later (which is likely to be the case for many in continental Europe, given the rather short notice before the tasting) the chance to cast their vote.

There are four whiskies to choose from, drawn from two types of cask that Kilchoman has never released before. These wine cask maturations are available both neat and as a vatting with bourbon barrels:

• Pineau des Charentes – 57,8 %
• 80 % Bourbon / 20 % Pineau des Charentes – 57,7 %
• Amarone – 57,1 %
• 80 % Bourbon / 20 % Amarone – 57,6 %
