Kilchoman Rhum Cask Finish 19/1445 (Exclusive Selection [for Le comptoir Irlandais])

Le comptoir Irlandais, founded in 1987, specialises in products associated with the Celtic way of life. The well-known retail chain, which opened its 55th shop in April 2026, offers fine foods and clothing as well as beer and spirits, mainly from Ireland and Scotland. The whisky range in particular has been massively expanded in recent years; there are now over 1,500 varieties on offer, making Le Comptoir Irlandais one of France’s largest spirits retailers.

As part of its Exclusive Selection range, Le comptoir Irlandais has now released yet another exclusive Kilchoman bottling.

This time, it is a Single Cask Bottling of a whisky that has been finished in a Rum cask. As with the recently released Rhum Cask Finish for The Distillery Shop, the whisky was finished in a Rum hogshead from Martinique, which is why Kilchoman spells ‘Rhum’ instead of ‘Rum’ on the label in both cases, as is customary in Martinique.
