First distillation at Kilchoman

9 November 2005 – a day that will go down in Kilchoman history. Distillate flowed from the stills of the distillery for the first time. The first test distillation yielded, by all accounts, quite useful results. In the coming days and weeks, however, a few more test runs and adjustments to the distilling regime will be necessary before production can hopefully start at the end of the year.
