New in the Distillery Shop: 7 yo Bourbon Cask 567/2017

Almost six months after the last release, a new exclusive bottling has now been released for the Kilchoman Distillery Shop. Thanks to significantly fewer visitors during the winter months, bottlings are available for longer during this period. However, it is likely that the new release will be sold out by Fèis Ìle at the latest.

The bottling released yesterday is a relatively young bourbon cask maturation. This contrasts nicely with the significantly older bottlings released recently to mark Kilchoman’s anniversary year, offering interesting opportunities for comparison.

The whisky was matured for almost eight years in a fresh bourbon barrel. Bottled at cask strength of 57.5%, the yield was 252 bottles, which are now available for £94.48 at the Kilchoman Visitor Centre.
