Read moreKilchoman now announced that Malcolm Rennie has been appointed as its first distillery manager. Rennie had worked as stillman at the Ardbeg distillery since its reopening in 1997, and before that at Bruichladdich for 8 years. He was also seconded to the Glen Moray distillery in 2003 for 6 months to act as assistant manager. .

The two stills, the mash tun and other equipment arrived at the distillery. They were manufactured by the well-known company Forsyths of Rothes, the Scottish market leader for distillery equipment, and are to be installed and connected within the next few weeks. .
