The 100% Islay cask listed here was selected by Hidetoshi Maekawa, who is not only Kilchoman’s brand ambassador for Japan, but also owns the ‘shamrock’ bar in Takamatsu, Kagawa Prefecture, which was founded in 2009.

The whisky was matured for nine and a half years in an ex-Bourbon barrel from Buffalo Trace.
