Kilchoman Tawny Port Barrique 19/1479 for Gourmétage

Until 2024, Kilchoman had exclusively used Ruby Port and LBV Port (Late Bottle Vintage) casks for its Port Cask maturations and finishings. The first White Port Finishings appeared in mid-2025, followed in October 2025 by the world’s first Tawny Port release listed here. The whisky was bottled for Gourmétage, a East German delicatessen chain with specialty stores in Leipzig, Dresden, Erfurt, Halle, and online.

This is a nearly 6-year-old whisky fully matured in a Tawny Port barrique. The bottles cost €119.90 and are also available online.
