The Japanese Kilchoman importer, Whisk-e Ltd, Japan, released a Calvados Double Cask Finish from casks 501 & 502/2012 in mid-2023. Three years later, it released the bottling listed here from the sister cask 507/2012. This whisky was also initially matured for more than nine years in an ex-bourbon barrel and was then finished for more than four years – that is, two and a half years longer than the previous release – in a Calvados cask.
