Meat the Peat Tour 2019 announced
Kilchoman has now announced its major annual promotional tour, which this year will be themed ‘Meat the Peat’. James and Peter Wills will be covering a particularly long distance in 2019, and have swapped the distillery’s Land Rover for more modern means of transport – the fact that Peter crashed the vehicle during last year’s European tour is, reportedly, completely unrelated…

Starting in Japan at the end of September 2019, the tour will move on to the Midwestern United States in October, before heading to Taiwan and China in November and December.
Peter Wills will be kicking off with the Japanese leg of the tour, starting in Tokyo on 28 September, before continuing on to Nagoya and Osaka and returning to Tokyo on 2 October.
.
.
He will then hand over the reins to James for the tour of the Midwestern United States, which begins on 10 October in Chicago. From there, the tour heads north to Minneapolis, before continuing on to performances in Milwaukee and Indianapolis.
.
.
From 20 to 22 November, Peter Wills will then be travelling through Taiwan, where he has events scheduled in Tainan, Taichung and Taipei, before touring China from 24 November to 2 December, where tastings are planned in Beijing, Xi’an, Yantai, Hangzhou, Chongqing and Foshan.
.
.
As with previous tours, a special Cask Strength bottling of Machir Bay has been created, which will be available from selected shops and bars during the tour. What’s more, the Wills brothers will be bringing a plethora of the latest limited editions, merchandise and plenty of good cheer to every single event … further details to follow shortly!
