Kilchoman Port Quarter Cask 19/1999 for The Fifth Anniversary of the Nantucket Series

‘The Nantucket Series’ is a classic car weekend event for Land Rover enthusiasts, similar to ‘The Vineyard Series’, which has been held on Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts since 2021. The focus is on a friendly get-together for the Land Rover classic car community. There are exhibitions of historic Land Rovers and, of course, numerous stalls selling all sorts of Land Rover-related items.

On Sunday 19 July 2026, the event will take place for the fifth time. As was the case for last year’s fifth anniversary of the “Vineyard Series”, the US importer ImpEx Beverages has once again commissioned a special bottling of Kilchoman to mark this anniversary. We have already reported several times on Kilchoman’s links with Land Rover, which extend right into the family; this is now the fourth Kilchoman bottling with a Land Rover theme.

This bottling is a Port Quarter Cask Release, Kilchoman’s eighth bottling from refill Ruby Port Quarter Casks since mid-2025. Most of these bottlings appeared as exclusive releases for specific events, such as the Kilchoman Days 2025, as the manageable quantity of around 120 bottles makes a cask of this size particularly suitable for a single event.

The whisky was matured for just under six and a half years in the cask and was bottled in April 2026 at an alcohol strength of 56.2% abv.
