The wine and spirits shop Kensington Wine Market from Calgary in Alberta has regularly released Kilchoman single cask bottlings since 2010. The bottling listed here was released at the end of 2017 on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the shop. It was already the sixth Kilchoman single cask release by Kensington Wine Market. For the first time, it was able to present a 10-year-old Kilchoman whisky to his customers.

As with many of its Kilchoman bottlings, Kensington Wine Market also had part of this release bottled in 5 cl miniature bottles to be included in the Whisky Advent Calendar 2017, where it could be found behind door number 24.
