Kilchoman Tequila Finish Single Cask 825/2012 – Distillery Shop Exclusive

Following the reopening of the visitor centre, which was temporarily closed due to the COVID pandemic, Kilchoman has now also resumed the bottling of Distillery Shop Exclusive releases.

We hope, of course, that the series of Online Shop Exclusives introduced in the meantime will nevertheless continue. Not only because it is still extremely difficult to get to Islay at the moment, but also because this series is a welcome opportunity to get hold of excellent Kilchoman Single Cask bottlings.

One of the still extremely rare Tequila Finish bottlings was chosen as the first “post-Corona release”.

The whisky was first matured in a bourbon barrel for eight years and then finished in a tequila cask for 6 months.

Once again a typo has crept in on the label, the whisky is 8 years old and not 9 years old.
