Read moreKilchoman now announced that Malcolm Rennie has been appointed as its first distillery manager. Rennie had worked as stillman at the Ardbeg distillery since its reopening in 1997, and before that at Bruichladdich for 8 years. He was also seconded to the Glen Moray distillery in 2003 for 6 months to act as assistant manager. ..
Read moreAnother important day in the construction and commissioning of the Kilchoman distillery was yesterday, 7 February 2005. The two stills, the mash tun and other equipment arrived at the distillery. They were manufactured by the well-known company Forsyths of Rothes, the Scottish market leader for distillery equipment, and are to be installed and connected within the next few weeks. .
