In December 2023, Taiwanese Kilchoman importer Richward International released a series of four Kilchoman single cask bottlings dedicated to the Taiwanese cities of Taichung, Tainan, Taitung and New Taipei. The specially designed labels each featured a landmark of the respective city.

The bottling for New New Taipei mentioned here is a Bourbon cask full maturation. The whisky was matured for exactly 10 years in a fresh ex-Buffalo Trace bourbon barrel.

There is a rock in the Yehliu Geological Park located in Wanli District, New Taipei City, which looks like a queen gazing into the distance, with a long neck and a beautiful face, and was named “Queen’s Head” in a photo exhibition, which has made Yehliu a tourist attraction since then.
Due to natural weathering, the neck of the Queen’s Head is getting thinner and thinner, and it is estimated that the Queen’s Head will be severed in 10 to 15 years if it is not artificially stabilised. In order to preserve the Queen’s head in people’s minds, it has been used on the Kilchoman bottling label.
