After the Japanese Kilchoman importer Whisk-e Ltd released its first single cask bottling of a 100% Islay whisky in mid-2011, the second 100% Islay bottling for Japan listed here followed in early 2012. The whisky, made from the farm’s own barley, was matured for three and a half years in an ex-bourbon barrel.
