Kilchoman 13 yo Calvados Double Cask Finish 132 & 133/2011 for Spec´s

The Texan spirits chain ‘Spec’s. Wine, Spirits & Finer Foods’ has repeatedly made a name for itself with Kilchoman single cask bottlings. Furthermore – unusually for a single retailer – a number of Kilchoman Small Batch Releases and Triskele Casks Releases have even been bottled exclusively for Spec’s on several occasions.

In 2024, Spec’s released no fewer than two exclusive Kilchoman single cask bottlings: the Calvados Double Cask Finish listed here and a 12-year-old whisky fully matured in a bourbon cask.

The whisky in the Calvados Double Cask Finish was initially matured for 10 years in two separate bourbon barrels and was then finished in a 400-litre Calvados cask.
