In 2024, the US importer ImpEx Beverages had three new Kilchoman single casks bottled for its renowned Cask Evolution series.

The No. 01/2024 listed here was a 15-year-old whisky matured entirely in Oloroso sherry casks. The whisky was initially matured for just over 12 years in an Oloroso sherry butt and was then transferred to an Oloroso sherry hogshead, where it was aged for a further 3 years.

At the time of bottling, this was not only one of the oldest sherry cask maturations ever bottled by Kilchoman, but also one of the last Oloroso sherry casks from 2008 still remaining in the Kilchoman warehouses. Incidentally, two sister casks were released in Germany as part of the Sister Casks series.
