The well-known Baltic ferry company Viking Line, which also hosts the annual “floating whisky festival” Cinderella Whisky Fair, has released a number of Kilchoman single cask bottlings for its passengers over the years. The bottling mentioned here was Viking Line’s fifth Kilchoman release.

The whisky was first matured for over 4 years in a fresh ex-bourbon barrel before being finished in a Pedro Ximénez sherry cask for nine months.
