Kilchoman »Autumn 2009 Release« released

After the “Kilchoman Inaugural Release” on 9 September, the second limited bottling from Kilchoman was released on 30 November with the “Autumn 2009 Release”. This time it is a whisky that was first matured for 3 years in fresh ex-bourbon barrels and then finished for two and a half months in Oloroso sherry butts.

As with the “Kilchoman Inaugural Release”, the contents of the individual casks were first married on Islay and reduced to 46% drinking strength, after which the whisky was delivered to the Houston Bottling Company in Dumbarton, where bottling took place.

The edition is 10,000 bottles. It is distributed in 15 countries worldwide – Taiwan has now been added as a new market.
