Kilchoman Blanc de Blancs Single Cask Finish 1109/2016 pour Le Québec announced

After La Société des Alcools du Québec, the state monopolist for the distribution of alcohol in the Canadian province of Québec, released a Kilchoman Sauternes Finish in September, another Kilchoman single cask bottling has now been announced for next Tuesday, 24 October. Incidentally, both bottlings were bottled at Kilchoman on the same day, why SAQ did not release the bottles at the same time remains their secret.

This time it is one of the still very rare Blanc de Blancs wine cask maturations from Kilchoman. The whisky was first matured for nearly six years in an ex-bourbon barrel before being finished in a Blanc de Blancs cask from Champagne for nine month.

The bottling will be sold online and in the shops of La Société des Alcools du Québec for 206 Canadian dollars.
