This Kilchoman single cask release was bottled in mid-2014 for the renowned online whisky shop Abbey Whisky.

This was one of the first Kilchoman PX finish bottlings ever, it was only at the beginning of 2014 that Kilchoman had started to release Pedro Ximénez sherry cask finishes. The whisky was first matured for four and a half years in a fresh ex-bourbon barrel and was then finished for four months in a Pedro Ximénez sherry cask.
