As the third Kilchoman single cask bottling for the Austrian market, a PX Cask Finish was released for the first time at the end of 2014. The whisky has been matured for over four and a half years in a fresh ex-bourbon barrel before being finished in a Pedro Ximénez sherry cask for four months.

As the Potstill company in Vienna acts both as the Austrian general importer of numerous distilleries, including Kilchoman, but is also a large whisky shop itself, in order to avoid conflicts of interest it has quite often had partial editions of the bottlings it imports for other Austrian shops or whisky clubs provided with a different label at their request or organised joint bottlings quite unbureaucratically.
Thus, many Austrian Kilchoman single cask bottlings exist in several variants (partial editions) with different labels, and in the case of the release listed here there are three: in addition to another collaboration with the whisky shop Genuss am Gaumen, 42 bottles were also bottled for the Whisky Circle Pinzgau as their Club Bottle of the Year 2014.
