Kilchoman Releases

One of the distinctive features of the Kilchoman distillery is the countless single cask bottlings produced for various countries, whisky shops, whisky fairs and private individuals. On the one hand, this is one of the things that makes Kilchoman so appealing to whisky lovers; at no other Scottish whisky distillery can one so clearly trace the maturation of the whisky over the years and in different casks. On the other hand, this makes compiling a database of all Kilchoman bottlings (in autumn 2022, almost exactly 13 years after the first release, the number of different Kilchoman bottlings surpassed the 1,000 mark) an extremely challenging task. The author of this website has taken on this challenge and, with the help of the Kilchoman distillery, numerous importers, Kilchoman specialists and collectors from all over the world, has created a database over the last few years that meets the highest standards of completeness and reliability.

As long-standing users of our site will have noticed, the database of Kilchoman bottlings has now been divided into three sections to keep loading times reasonably manageable: firstly, an overview of the General Releases and Small Batch Releases; secondly, the large group of Single Cask Bottlings; and finally – which is rare in Kilchoman’s case – the Independent Bottlings and Blended Malts containing Kilchoman.

This is followed by a list of Kilchoman miniature bottlings and overviews of some of the key Kilchoman ranges.
