In May 2022, Uniquely Islay – An t-Earrach 2022, the fourth edition of the Uniquely Islay series, was released in Germany. The PX Sherry Cask full maturation listed here was the eighth of ten bottlings.

The whisky was matured for almost seven years in a fresh Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead. This release was the world’s first single cask bottling of whisky matured in a PX sherry cask made from Port Ellen malt; only two others have followed since. The 15 others were made from the slightly less peated 100% Islay malt.
