Two new Kilchoman Releases in the Online Shop

Two new single cask bottlings have been available to purchase from the Kilchoman Online Shop for the past few days. One is an 8-year-old Marsala wine cask finish, and the other a 15-year-old fully matured in a Bourbon cask.

The Marsala Finish whisky was initially matured in a fresh ex-Bourbon barrel and is said to have been finished for over a year in a Marsala wine cask. If one compares this information with that of the sister casks already released, it appears there may once again be an error on the part of the layout designer, who failed to amend the ‘one-year finish’ detail for cask 882/2016 – bottled in January 2025 – when drafting the new text on the back of the box. The correct figure is likely to be just under three years of finishing in the Marsala cask.

The second Kilchoman bottling spent 15 years in a fresh ex-bourbon barrel. It comes in the elaborately designed gift box that we are already familiar with from the 20th Anniversary Cask Series and the Family Collection.
