Im September 2020 brachte der bekannte französische Spirituosenhändler und Kilchoman-Importeur „La Maison du Whisky“ unter dem Namen „The Wills Family Cask Collection“ eine exclusive Reihe mit fünf Kilchoman-Single Cask-Abfüllungen heraus. Konzept der Serie war, dass jedes der fünf Mitglieder der Kilchoman-Gründerfamilie ein spezielles Lieblingsfass auswählt. Das Ergebnis war eine Reihe wirklich herausragender Abfüllungen.

George Wills, der älteste Sohn von Kathy und Anthony Wills, wählte ein Oloroso Sherry Hogshead aus, in dem der Whisky für über 9 Jahre gereift war.

George schrieb dazu: “Sherry and peat smoke is a recipe for a distinct style of Islay whisky, that´s why I have always been drawn to our sherry casks. The rich influence of the oloroso sherry soaked oak combines with the peat smoke of Kilchoman to create a big bold style that balances dried fruits and mixed spices with rich peat smoke and a meaty savory note which I love.”
